EDUARDO STILL CAN'T WATCH
Eduardo da Silva still won't watch the tackle that could have ended his career.
It was two years ago on Tuesday that a lunging challenge by Birmingham's Martin Taylor left the Arsenal striker floored with a broken fibula and an open dislocation of his left ankle.
Eduardo was sidelined for a year and did not enjoy regular first-team football again until this season.
'I haven't seen (the tackle), no way, and I don't think about it or talk on the subject,' he told Brazilian website Globoesporte. 'I don't like to be reminded of negative things, I only try to think positively.'
The injury ruled Eduardo out of Euro 2008 and he was restricted to just four appearances for the Gunners last season, the highlight being a sublime improvised goal against Burnley taken on his recovering ankle. The 26-year-old started this season with a goal in the 6-1 win at Everton - his first League strike since the day to forget at St Andrew's.
